CES Gallery

CES Gallery specializes in local and international contemporary fine art. The gallery mission is to pursue and support the development of young, emerging artists focusing on work that challenges notions of place, identity and aesthetics. A multitude of traditional and new media is exhibited at CES with an emphasis on concept driven, interdisciplinary works that maintain integrity in design and attention to detail. CES Gallery was founded in 2014 by Carl E. Smith in downtown Los Angeles. Smith has directed and produced other eponymous projects since 2010. As the sole curator and director of CES, Smith takes a unique, no-holds-barred approach to curating that does not placate to trends, leveraging a place for lesser-known artists.
