DOG DAY
Every Dog Has Its Day
Our annual Dog Day event brings residents, workers, and their beloved pups, mutts, and canine pals together to mingle with other fur families and Downtown-based dog businesses and non-profit organizations. The event includes musical entertainment, food, photo opportunities, and a donation to a local pet-based charity.
Public Safety Appreciation BBQ
We Fire Up the Grills for a Good Cause
For 20 years, the DTLA Alliance Public Safety Appreciation BBQ has been held to honor DTLA’s first responders. This lunch-time event brings local professionals and residents together to enjoy a hearty lunch and live music with members of DTLA’s first responder community. The event includes a $5,000 donation to organizations such as: LA Police Memorial Foundation, Los Angeles Fireman's Relief Association, and Sheriff's Youth Foundation. Donation is rotated annually between organizations.
Halloween Festival for DTLA Kids
Frights and Fun for the Whole Family
The Halloween Festival for DTLA Families is hosted every year at ASU FIDM’s Grand Hope Park to provide a safe and celebratory holiday for local families. With puppet shows, bounce houses, costumed characters, and buckets of candy, there is fun for everyone.
DTLA Marketing Roundtable
Connecting Neighborhood Businesses
The DTLA Alliance hosts a monthly Marketing Roundtable that brings local business owners, marketing experts, and sales professionals together to share local offerings and business best practices. Members of the Roundtable are provided unique opportunities to promote their business, meet professional colleagues, stay in the know, and have a little fun!

The DTLA Alliance attends and supports dozens of local community events every year, sharing information about DTLA Alliance and providing fellow Downtown Center district organizations with promotional and operational support. From craft fairs and fun-runs to mixers and other events, we’re proud to work together to build a strong local community.
