Upstage Burger

The Music Center has launched Upstage Burger, a new gourmet burger joint that overlooks The Music Center’s world-renowned Walt Disney Concert Hall and bustling Grand Avenue Arts corridor.

The quintessential burger stand joins casual outdoor Latin restaurant Cocina Roja, located adjacent to The Music Center’s Ahmanson Theatre as the second dining establishment on The Music Center Plaza during its renovation, and the first on its campus with a real focus on dining options at accessible price points attractive both to patrons and the public who live, work and play in downtown. Open to the public seven days a week, Upstage Burgers is part of the iconic performing arts center’s plan to transform its campus into a highly accessible, welcoming outdoor metropolitan venue people can enjoy, whether or not they are attending a performance.

The eatery will offer a select variety of handcrafted, made-to-order sandwiches, burgers and sides using only the finest ingredients. From premium grass-fed beef and the vegetarian IMPOSSIBLE™ burger, to Mary’s free-range chicken and all-beef hot dogs, Upstage Burger “upstages” one’s impression of the typical burger stand.
