Celebrate the season as Liquid PXL lights up Downtown LA with a mesmerizing display of color, motion, and magic. From dazzling Electric Dandelions to a towering LED light tree, The Yard at Cal Plaza glows nightly through January 4, 2026.

Join us for Downtown LA's biggest flip-switching ceremony!

Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 3, for a Holiday Gift Fair starting at 12pm (noon), live entertainment from 4 - 7pm, and a community countdown and tree lighting at 5pm. 

What to Expect 

Make your DTLA nights merry and bright. Grand Illuminations features dazzling light installations from LA-based Liquid PXL.

Over 100 unique light sequences resemble a vibrant fireworks display.
Electric Dandelions
A mesmerizing 25-foot custom-designed LED tree is at the center of the display.
Holiday Tree
Towering light columns synchronize to illuminate the plaza in rhythm and color.
