Safety Awareness Meetings

The DTLA Alliance offers complimentary Safety Awareness Meetings to help employees and residents within the District make the most of their Downtown experience by providing helpful tips, highlighting available resources, and allowing the community to engage with key safety partners. You provide the space (and maybe some snacks), and we’ll bring an engaging, high-value program.

What to Expect

  • A panel presentation led by the DTLA Alliance in partnership with People Assisting the Homeless (PATH), the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), and Metro that provides attendees with safety information as well as resources on how to access the best of the neighborhood.
  • This is followed by a Q+A to address your group’s specific questions and concerns.
  • The 60-minute program is available at no charge to occupants of buildings within the Downtown Center boundaries.
  • Safety Awareness Meetings can be requested by residential and commercial property managers for their building tenants, large employers for their employees, and schools for their students.  Meetings with residents can be scheduled in the evening.
  • Attendees are provided with customized information packets that include a list of all safety resources covered during the meeting.

We Suggest You Provide

  • A quiet, private meeting space large enough for your group.
  • Optional snacks or meals to encourage attendance (lunch works well for office settings, light snacks for residential).
