Join us on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 5 - 8 PM, at Grand Hope Park - ASU California Center Grand (919 S. Grand Avenue).

This Halloween, bring your little ones to Downtown LA for a night they’ll never forget! Enjoy safe trick-or-treating, meet-and-greets with favorite characters, live performances, hands-on arts & crafts, dancing, and tons of spooktacular giveaways—perfect for kids ages 2–8.

Meet beloved storybook characters and mascots throughout the park.
Character Meet & Greets
Enjoy a thrilling soundtrack to the night with DJ Q the Jedi delivering a spooktacular set that will keep the energy alive.
Kids Boo-gie Dance Party
Step into our storybook stage, where live puppet and magic shows enchant little ones every 30 minutes.
Magic and Puppet Shows
Enjoy complimentary face painting, balloon twisting, and hands-on arts & crafts—fun activities the whole family can share together.
Arts & Crafts
Your ticket includes a complimentary meal—hot dog, chips, cookie, and water. Additional snacks, sodas, and hot beverages will also be available for purchase.

FAQs

Visitor parking is available in the school lot with advanced coordination required, in surface parking lots, and garages near the ASU California Center Grand, ASU FIDM, located at 919 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles. Visitor parking options are through independent operators. 

ASU FIDM parking

At 9th St. between Hope St. and Grand Ave. there is underground parking open on a space-available basis for $10. Parking is staffed Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Friday, 6 a.m.– 4 p.m. 

Reserved/prepaid option

SpotHero allows for pre-paid parking up to a month in advance at adjacent parking lots.

Nearby parking lot locations:

  • 820 S. Grand Ave.: This lot is operated by Unified Parking Service, Inc. It is located approximately one-half block northwest of the school. This is an open-air lot with an attendant.
  • 835 S. Hill St.: This garage is operated by Onni Group. It is located on the west side of Hill St. between 8th Street. and 9th Street. Standard size vehicles only. It is a secure garage with no attendant.

Metro
Grand Hope Park at ASU California Center Grand is located a few blocks from the Pico Station stop and an 7-minute walk from the 7th Street/Metro Center Station.

Bus
There are numerous Metro Local and DASH bus routes that stop within reach of the ASU California Centers.

We recommend arriving when the festival begins at 5:00 PM so you have plenty of time to enjoy all that the DTLA Halloween Festival for Kids has to offer. Last entry to the festival is at 7:30 PM.
