Grand Hope Park at ASU California Center Grand

Grand Hope Park, is a 2.5-acre greenspace, including a water feature and mosaic clocktower, designed as a collection of “outdoor rooms” by landscape architect Lawrence Halprin. It features several art pieces from California artists including Lita Albuquerque, Raul Guerrero, Ralph McIntosh, Gwynn Murrill and Adrian Saxe.

The park is perfect for soaking up the sun after a visit to the ASU FIDM Museum. Plus, Grand Hope Park is a great spot for families with young children, since it's one of the few parks in Downtown featuring a playground. Grand Hope Park is part of the final space in a grand boulevard through downtown LA called the Los Angeles Open Space Network.

Grand Hope Park is located in front of the ASU California Center Grand, home to ASU FIDM, Arizona State University’s fashion program. Students in the programs learn in state-of-the-industry classrooms on professional equipment and have coursework embedded with industry partners across LA that allow them to work alongside experts while earning their degrees.

ASU has two state-of-the-art facilities in downtown LA, blocks apart on Broadway and on Grand where they offer top-ranked undergraduate and graduate degree programs in film, fashion, emerging media, business and more.
