DTLA Summer Camp 2025 Sweepstakes Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility: DTLA Summer Camp 2025 Sweepstakes (the “Campaign”) is open to those who are 18 years of age or older for the lunchtime activities and 21 years of age or older for the happy hour trivia as of the date of entry. The Campaign is only open to legal residents of United States and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of the DTLA Alliance, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Campaign. The Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
  2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Entrant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of DTLA Alliance as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign.
  3. Campaign Period: Entries will be accepted in-person starting on July 16, 2025, at 11:01 AM PT and ending July 30, 2025, at 7:00 PM PT.
  4. How to Enter:
    1. Pick Up a Camp Passport. Visit the DTLA Alliance check-in table at any of the DTLA Summer Camp locations at the date and times listed below (“Camp Events”) event to receive a Camp Passport.
      1. Wednesday, July 16
        • 11 AM – 1 PM – Bank of America Plaza (333 S. Hope Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071)
        • 4:30 PM – 6 PM – Spire 73 (900 Wilshire Blvd, fl 73, Los Angeles, CA 90017)
      2. Wednesday, July 23
        • 11 AM – 1 PM – The Yard at Cal Plaza (350 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90071)
        • 4:30 PM – 6 PM – Omni Hotel (251 S. Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012)
      3. Wednesday, July 30
        • 11 AM – 1 PM – Great Lawn at the Jonathan Club (545 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071)
        • 4:30 PM – 6 PM – Maple Block Barbecue at Grand Central Market (324 Hill St., Los Angeles, CA 90013) 
    2. Complete Camp Activities. Participate in any three (3) of the following official Summer Camp activities listed on Your Camp Passport:
      • Basketball (July 16 | 11 AM – 1 PM | Bank of America Plaza)
      • Archery (July 16 | 11 AM – 1 PM | Bank of America Plaza)
      • Water Balloon Brigade (July 16 | 11 AM – 1 PM | Bank of America Plaza)
      • SurveySlamTM & S’mores Happy Hour (July 16 | 4:30 PM – 6 PM | Spire 73)
      • Cornhole (July 23 | 11 AM – 1 PM | The Yard at Cal Plaza)
      • Friendship Bracelets (July 23 | 11 AM – 1 PM | The Yard at Cal Plaza)
      • Screen Printing (July 23 | 11 AM – 1 PM | The Yard at Cal Plaza)
      • Happy Hour Trivia (July 23 | 4:30 PM – 6 PM | Omni Hotel)
      • Bocce Ball (July 30 | 11 AM – 1 PM | Jonathan Club)
      • Art Trail Hike (July 30 | 11 AM – 1 PM | Jonathan Club)
      • Grandest Happy Hour (July 30 | 4:30 PM – 6 PM | Grand Central Market)
    3. Get Stamped and Submit Your Entry. After completing each activity, see an official Camp Counselor to receive a stamp on your Camp Passport as proof of completion. Once You have three (3) stamps, drop Your completed Camp Passport into the Sweepstakes collection box at any of the Camp Events. No online submissions will be accepted.
    4. Additional Entries. You may submit more than one (1) entry by completing additional Camp Passports. Here’s how:
      • Once You have submitted one Camp Passport entry, pick up a new Camp Passport at any of the Camp Events.
      • Complete three new activities (different the previous entry)
      • Receive stamps from an official Camp Counselor for each new activity.
      • Submit Your new completed Camp Passport in the Sweepstakes collection box at any of the Camp Events.
      • The more Camp Passports You submit, the more chances You have to win.
      • NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.
  5. Prizes: One (1) winner in the Campaign (the “Winner”) receives a happy hour at the Sheraton Grand - Los Angeles for up to twenty (20) people, for two (2) hours on a date agreed upon by both the Winner and Sheraton Grand - Los Angeles. The happy hour includes three (3) drinks per person (includes beer, wine and specialty cocktail drink), and three (3) pass tray Hors d'oeuvres with a cheese board and vegetable crudité. The prize is valued up to $2,500. One Winner will be chosen at random by August 15, 2025, 11:59 PM PT from those entries submitted by 7:00PM PT on July 30, 2025.
  6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  7. Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected randomly from the total Camp Passports submitted above. Winner will be notified via email within one business day of Winner selection. DTLA Alliance shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 5 business days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Campaign is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  8. Terms & Conditions: DTLA Alliance reserves the right to modify award packages as needed if featured businesses are no longer available to offer products and services restrictions. DTLA Alliance reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond DTLA Alliance’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Campaign. In such case, DTLA Alliance may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by DTLA Alliance. DTLA Alliance reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. DTLA Alliance has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Campaign. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, DTLA Alliance reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  9. Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless DTLA Alliance and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Campaign and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
  10. Disputes: This Campaign IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CALIFORNIA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in California having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Campaign). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
  11. Winners List: To obtain a copy of the winner's name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: DTLA Alliance 600 Wilshire Blvd. Ste 870, Los Angeles, CA 90017. Requests must be received no later than August 30, 2025.
