DTLA Stories
You can't spell DTLA without D.A.T.A
Downtown is the city’s economic center, transit center, and center of arts & culture. It’s also full of data centers! Whole buildings pulsing with ones and zeros in massive servers linked to fiber optic networks, connecting people and information around the globe. According to the LA Times, “One Wilshire is the mother of all data centers in the West.” But it is not alone, DTLA boasts 1.8 million sf of data center space, with another 500,000 sf proposed in a new state-of-the-art facility at 727 Grand Avenue in, you guessed it, the Downtown Center district.
