The BLOB Invades L.A. Comic Con

Join Worldwide Entertainment for an exclusive screening of the 1958 cult classic film “The BLOB,” widely regarded as one of the most influential sci-fi horror movies of all time. The screening will be followed by “Six Degrees of The Blob, The Legacy and Science of Hollywood’s Favorite Alien,” a lively discussion and Q&A with our award-winning panelists. The panel will examine “The BLOB” from the perspectives of science, popular culture, and filmmaking, and will discuss why the message of  “The BLOB” is more relevant than ever today. “The BLOB” showcases Steve McQueen in his first starring film role and is highlighted by “The BLOB” theme song, written by Burt Bacharach, ​​which became a hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 1958. “The BLOB” routinely appears in round ups of top sci-fi and horror movies and is part of the prestigious Criterion Collection.
