Artificial intelligence is no longer a future consideration in education, it is a present reality shaping curriculum, assessment, policy, and the professional expectations of educators. Those entering and advancing in the field must be prepared not only to use AI, but to critically evaluate, ethically apply, and strategically lead with it.
This session goes beyond tools and tactics.
You will be joined by an exceptional panel of nationally recognized thought leaders whose work spans education, law, media, and public discourse on AI:
• Antonio Pagano, JD – offering legal and policy-informed perspectives on AI, ethics, and institutional responsibility
• Tina Austin – nationally recognized thought leader and CNN contributor, bringing real-world insight into AI’s societal and educational impact
• Dr. Sean Van Aacken – educational innovator and scholar focused on instructional transformation and leadership in AI-enabled learning environments
This distinguished panel will engage in a high-level, academically grounded discussion on the implications of AI for teaching, learning, equity, and professional practice—followed by direct engagement with attendees.
