Taqueando Presents: Chef John Sedlar's Rivera Pop-Up

Taqueando—the all-you-can-eat festival featuring traditional and innovative chefs from Southern California, Mexico, and beyond—held its first annual event in June 2019. Fast forward, and we're in another universe altogether. While mass gatherings aren't yet possible, Taqueando's organizers are keeping the spirit of the event alive with rotating pop-ups curated by Latin American food expert Bill Esparza featuring taqueros, taqueras, and friends. Up next: Chef John Sedlar brings his iconic Los Angeles restaurant, Rivera, back for six nights only (4/15-4/17 and 4/22-4/24). Familiar menu items will include Tortillas Florales, Duck Confit Enfrijoladas, Caracoles (snails), and Mole Ice Cream, among others. Wine, beer, and signature cocktails from the restaurant (like the beef jerky garnished Barbacoa) will also be available.
