Summer Premieres: The Running Set
The English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams based much of his music on the haunting, lively, and spiritual songs of the ancient cultures of his homeland. This August, ACB Artistic Director Lincoln Jones creates a new ballet to Vaughn Williams’ music based in the dance traditions of these same cultures and centered around the composer’s famed Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis.
