Latino USA: Live in LA

For the first-ever live event from Latino USA, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and host Maria Hinojosa (she/her) takes the stage in downtown Los Angeles at the historic Theatre at Ace Hotel to celebrate this city and its rich Latino culture. She’ll be joined by actor and LA icon Danny Trejo (he/him) to talk about building a career in entertainment, showing up for his community both on and off-screen, and what it means to be a proud Angeleno. LA-based, Salvadoran-American comedian Marcella Arguello (she/her) will perform a live set, along with some special cameos from you—our Latino USA listeners.

This event is part of KPCC’s Public Radio Palooza, a year-long celebration of all
the ways public radio brings us together, featuring some of the most legendary
