The season’s theme “From Feelings to Pheromones” explores the forces that shape the behaviors and sex lives of life forms, large and small. On March 1, Evolutionary Biologist Dr. Patty Brennan and Neuroscientist and moderator Dr. Yewande Pearse discuss the creature dating game and other mating habits of the animal kingdom. From reproduction and propagation in the natural world to the sex lives of other species, we untangle the constructs of gender, feelings, and pheromones.
Catch a vibe with outdoor musical performances by Jesse Boykins III and Annahstasia along with DJ Senay M. Kenfe setting the mood throughout the evening. Experience an indoor Sensory Lounge in the Grand Foyer, a captivating blend of visual art and soundscape curated by LAVA and Femme House, along with natural product vendors Herbalaria and ChocoVivo.
