Colburn Chamber Music Society: Orion Weiss, Piano
In the Colburn Chamber Music Society series, renowned guest artists are joined on stage by Conservatory of Music students and faculty for a series of intimate performances.
The first concert of the 23-24 series presents pianist Orion Weiss, a sought-after soloist with an affinity for chamber music whose engaging and heartfelt performances have made him an audience favorite. He presents a 20th century-centered program of Poulenc, Turina, and Korngold with a bit of Mozart included for additional flavor.
