Amplify Performance: Kris Bowers, Piano and Composition

The careers of artists of color are celebrated through on-campus residencies that include masterclasses, performances, panel discussions, podcast recordings, and more.

Rising to fame after winning the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition, pianist Kris Bowers has made a name for himself as an Emmy Award-winning composer for film and television. Kris takes the stage with Conservatory students, alumni, and faculty for a program of his own compositions, including chamber arrangements of his film scores for Bridgerton, Green Book, King Richard, and more.
