Halloween Festival for Kids Returns Friday, October 31
The DTLA Alliance is gearing up for our upcoming 18th Annual DTLA Halloween Festival for Kids. Taking place on Friday, October 31st at ASU Grand Hope Park (919 S. Grand Avenue), this event has become a beloved tradition for local families. The festival is expected to draw more than 1,200 ghosts, ghouls, wizards, princesses, and superheroes, accompanied by their families, for an evening of safe, festive fun right in the heart of Downtown LA.
The Halloween Festival serves as a much-needed space for families to gather, connect, and celebrate the holiday in a safe, community-oriented environment. With a new lineup of activities ranging from an expanded path of trick-or-treat doors, DJ "Q the Jedi" spinning your favorite Halloween hits, carnival-style games, spooky arts and crafts, tons of free sweet treats and candy, and hilarious magic and puppet shows, the event provides something for everyone, with special attention given to creating a kid-friendly atmosphere.
Plus, attendees will enjoy a complimentary hot dog dinner, complete with chips and a cookie, as they explore new themed areas and catch surprise character meet-ups for perfect photo-ops that will have everyone smiling.
With an emphasis on safety and community, the DTLA Halloween Festival for Kids continues to stand out as one of the area’s signature family-friendly events, offering young children a magical introduction to the holiday, minus the worry. Parents can relax, knowing their little ones are in good hands while they explore a world of spooky delights.
