DTLA Alliance Spreads the Love This Valentine’s Day with Free Roses, Live Jazz, and Photo Ops

In a new tradition begun last year, the DTLA Alliance is bringing joy to Downtown Los Angeles by distributing 1,500 free roses on Valentine’s Day. On Friday, February 14, starting at 11:30 AM, the DTLA Alliance’s Safety Team and Hospitality Guides will distribute red and purple long-stem roses, available on a first-come, first-served basis at various locations.

Locally sourced from the California Flower Mall, Downtown workers and visitors may visit one of six participating properties to receive their free rose. Properties include Bank of America Plaza, The Bloc, City National Plaza, FourFortyFour South Flower, Maguire Gardens, and the US Bank Tower.

New this year, live jazz from The Pepper Moons will entertain lunch-goers at the recently opened Settecento restaurant in Maguire Gardens, from 11:30 AM – 1 PM. Concurrently, special Valentine’s Day photo ops will be set-up throughout the park offering the perfect way to celebrate the holiday.
