Taqueando After Dark at Level 8

An immersive taco food festival spanning the entire Level 8 universe.

The Houston Brothers and Chef Ray Garcia have partnered with James Beard Award–winning food writer Bill Esparza to present Taqueando After Dark — a two-night immersive taco food festival taking over the entire Level 8 universe.

For two consecutive nights only, Level 8 transforms into a roaming celebration of tacos and street food culture across Golden Hour, Qué Bárbaro, Lucky Mizu, Mr. Wanderlust, Maison Kasai, Brown Sheep, Mother of Pearl, and Sinners y Santos. Inspired by the streets of Mexico, guests journey room to room through a rare lineup of acclaimed chefs and legendary street vendors from across Mexico and Los Angeles, including talent from Michelin-recognized kitchens, each personally preparing the signature dishes that built their reputations. Every stop delivers its own regional specialty, style, and atmosphere.

Expect live DJs, specialty cocktails, immersive performances, surprise collaborations, and unforgettable bites throughout the night.

General Admission includes six bites curated from the event's featured chefs. Additional food and specialty offerings will be available for purchase throughout the evening. (Please note: This event takes place across two separate nights. Each ticket is valid for one date of entry only and does not grant admission to both evenings.)

MORE TO LOVE

Your ticket is also your entry to win. As part of the event, Baja California is giving away getaways to Tijuana and the Valle de Guadalupe, complete with dinners at participating restaurants, offering a taste of the region that inspired the festival. Everyone who purchases a ticket is automatically entered into the raffle.

A portion of proceeds benefits CIELO (Comunidades Indígenas en Liderazgo), an Indigenous women–led nonprofit supporting Indigenous communities across Los Angeles.
