Sound Bath at the Garden of the Clear Stream

Mondays | April 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2025
Group Sound Bath: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Garden Lounge: 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Escape the noise of everyday life and step into the hidden tranquility of the Garden of the Clear Stream, known in Japanese as Seiryu-en, at the award-winning James Irvine Japanese Garden. Begin your journey at the tsukubai, a stone basin symbolizing purification, before immersing yourself in a deeply restorative group sound bath, led by Iris Esmeralda, Mental Health Therapist (AMFT) turned Holistic Practitioner. Let the resonant tones of meditative instruments wash over you, calming the mind, easing tension, and fostering a profound connection with yourself and your surroundings.

As the gentle rush of the waterfall enhances your relaxation, cross the wooden bridge, symbolizing a release of burdens, and emerge renewed. Extend your peaceful journey with traditional Japanese refreshments and small bites, available for purchase afterward, for a garden lounge experience.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat. A limited number of mats will be available for rent or purchase.

Don't miss this opportunity to reconnect with yourself in one of Los Angeles's most historic Japanese gardens. Secure your spot now!
