LOS ANGELES, CA — This May, step into a cinematic reverie as the historic Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel hosts an unforgettable evening of Noir Jazz, conjuring the dark glamour and mystery of L.A.’s film noir legacy. Featuring the seductive sounds of the  Natalie Mendoza Trio. 
Backed by her razor-sharp jazz trio, Mendoza, whose smoldering presence evokes silver screen sirens of the 1940s, will reinterpret the haunting, hypnotic soundtracks of classic noir films, weaving in original arrangements that echo the pulse of Raymond Chandler’s Los Angeles and Bernard Herrmann’s nocturnal compositions. Her performance is equal parts velvet and danger, capturing the duality of noir’s most captivating femmes fatales.
The Biltmore Hotel, with its opulent 1920s architecture and deep cinematic roots, was the site of the 1937 Academy Awards and countless film shoots sets the perfect scene for this immersive jazz noir experience. Guests will sip vintage cocktails under Art Deco chandeliers, with live visuals and lighting designed to echo chiaroscuro shadows and Venetian blind slats of classic noir cinematography.
