Music Restored: Voices of Vienna

The more you buy, the more you save! Add any combination of three or more Colburn Chamber Players, Colburn Orchestra, Music Restored, or select Colburn Presents and Dance events to your cart to save 25% on each ticket.

Music Restored: The Ziering-Conlon Center for Exiled and Suppressed Composers presents a performance that reclaims voices nearly erased by history. This concert honors composers silenced as “degenerate” under the Third Reich, bringing their music to life with urgency and care. This profound program stands as an act of remembrance and resilience, advancing long-delayed justice through performance.

Please join us at 6 pm for a pre-concert panel discussion with Alex Ross, Critic, The New Yorker; Barbara von Behctolsheim, Executive Director, Hugo Kauder Society; and Adam Millstein, Program Director, Music Restored: The Ziering-Conlon Center for Exiled and Suppressed Composers

Music Restored is generously supported by Marilyn Ziering alongside the many donors who are inspired by this important work. This concert is made possible by Erica Clark in recognition of the extraordinary Music Restored initiative, and the equally extraordinary musicians who bring it to life.

Total runtime is for this event approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes with intermission.
