Mindfulness Mornings - The Sound Healing Studio
Recharge your mind and body with yoga and sound baths inside the Natural History Museum's iconic mammal halls, and discover a healthier, more vibrant you.
On August 22, embark on a new chapter of your wellness journey with Mindfulness Mornings at the Museum.
Before NHM opens to the public, join Avery Whitmore of The Sound Healing Studio to experience an hour of deep rest, guided by sound. You'll be immersed in the vibrations of crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments as the sound moves through the room and through your body. The session is restorative and regulating – resistance softens, the nervous system settles, and there is space to reconnect with yourself.
Founded in 2023 by Avery Whitmore, The Sound Healing Studio is a Los Angeles-based studio dedicated to the healing power of sound. Raised among energy workers and artists, Avery has spent nearly a decade honing his craft and continues to learn from teachers across a wide variety of wisdom and spiritual lineages.
*Please note: Mindfulness Mornings at NHM is recommended for participants ages 13+. Participants of the sound bath will be required to sit or lay for the duration of the session (60 minutes). To ensure all participants can fully enjoy the experience, guests will be required to be silent for the entire experience.
