Peter Sellars returns, on the heels of collaborating with the Chorale on the world-renowned Lagrime di San Pietro, to bring you a kinetic depiction of Schütz’s Musikalische Exequien (Funeral Music). Twenty-four singers breathe life and movement into this meditation on death with stage direction by Sellars. This concert is an homage to those who have left us and the bond we share with them.
