Last...Remains

Celebrate Halloween in one of Downtown LA’s most historic movie palaces with the Los Angeles Conservancy’s Last…Remains, a spooky seasonal edition of its beloved Last Remaining Seats film series.

On Saturday, October 17, the historic Million Dollar Theatre hosts two classic screenings: Clue at 1 p.m. and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining at 7 p.m. Before each feature, audiences can also catch the restored 1936 Fleischer cartoon The Cobweb Hotel, adding an extra dose of vintage Halloween atmosphere to the experience.

Launched as a Halloween expansion of the Conservancy’s long-running Last Remaining Seats program, Last…Remains pairs classic films with some of Los Angeles’ most remarkable historic theatres, offering audiences a chance to experience both the movies and the architecture in a setting that feels especially fitting for the season.

General admission tickets are $25, with discounted tickets available for Conservancy members and guests ages 17 and under. Member-only theatre tours are also available before both screenings.
