Indie Short Fest 2025 Annual Awards

Indie Short Fest is proud to unveil the lineup for its 5th Annual Awards, featuring a selection of 79 films from 16 countries. The event, set to take place on March 15, 2025, at Regal LA Live in Los Angeles, promises an unforgettable celebration of independent cinema, with 40 premieres making it a must-attend festival for film enthusiasts and industry professionals.

This year’s festival will welcome an array of internationally renowned artists. Among the distinguished guests are Serbian animator Marko Bosanac, recognized for his groundbreaking storytelling, German actor Thomas L. Dietz, and Guatemala director Mateo Sicilia. The festival’s musical landscape will be enriched by Alek Sandar from Bulgaria, a multi-genre composer and music producer, and Maxi Curnow, a British BBC and Universal composer.

Global Representation and Premieres
The festival continues to champion global talent, with films hailing from 16 countries. Notable attendees include Qingxuan Wang from China, whose visionary direction has captivated audiences worldwide, and Anshul Vijayvargiya from India, bringing his Bollywood-inspired storytelling to the mix. British actors Charles Delaney and Stephanie Tripp will also grace the festival, along with Canada’s renowned choreographer Chantal Caron, and Grammy Award winner Gaby Moreno.

A Star-Studded Affair
Indie Short Fest will also welcome several notable US-based artists. Steven Ogg, BAFTA nominee and star of The Walking Dead, will be among the esteemed guests. Michael Raymond-James, known for True Blood, and Eileen Dietz, a horror cinema icon, will further elevate the event’s star power.
