Homeboy Industries 13th Annual Homeboy 5K Run/Walk

Homeboy Industries, the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world will host its 13th Annual Homeboy 5K Run/Walk through historic Chinatown in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 24.Thousands of runners, walkers, and families from all over Southern California will be treated to a race route filled with live music bands and positive energy – all in celebration of hope, community, and kinship.

Every race participant will get this year’s official t-shirt, which was designed with the help of Carizma Brown, a Youth Navigator at Homeboy Art Academy, a trauma-informed center using art as a tool for healing and transformation. And, for the first time, runners and walkers will also take home a specially designed medal. The event will also feature a fun kids’ 1K race and a finish line festival with surprises, partners, artists, and vendors from across Los Angeles.
