Haunted Halloween Little Tokyo Block Party

The Little Tokyo Community Council and the nonprofit Center for Asian Americans United in Self Empowerment have partnered with local businesses to bring Haunted (an annual Halloween block party) back for its 10th year in Little Tokyo. They’re hosting a party with costume contests, food and drinks from local businesses, music, and even a mobile vote center (definitely the biggest draw)! This kind of event brings together multiple sectors: civic engagement, Asian American community building, and the promotion of local businesses. The event is also completely free! This is a great story to showcase the vibrant culture and communities of Los Angeles.
