How does a viral protest image in Istanbul—a costumed Pikachu being chased by police—resonate across continents? “Hak Hukuk Adalet” explores this intersection of political imagery, diaspora activism, and democratic struggle. Curated by Arzu Arda Kosar, Tuna Palabıyıkoğlu, and Burak Çatlı, the exhibition features protest photos from around the world in response to the March 18 arrest of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. Highlights include the now-iconic Pikachu protester, images from Berlin, LA, and beyond, and live Pikachu performers engaging visitors during the Brewery Artwalk.
