Gloria Molina Grand Park's Downtown Día de los Muertos

Gloria Molina Grand Park will showcase a public art installation in Downtown L.A. honoring Angelenos’ longtime customs and traditions of the Day of the Dead celebration. For 10 days, the "park for everyone" transforms into a healing space where visitors can explore and view a beautiful collection of altars created by seasoned and emerging artists as well as local community organizations. This year’s festivities include an Opening Day Celebration and a "Noche de los Muertos" Closing Night Ceremony.

Public Viewing of the Altars (Blocks 1 & 2, from Grand Ave. to Hill St.)
• Saturday, October 24 – Monday, November 2, 2026, 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Opening Day Community Celebration, as part of the Grand Ave Arts: All Access event all along Grand Avenue in DTLA, with dance and music performances and a spiritual cleanse (Block 1, from Grand Ave. to Olive Court)
• Saturday, October 24, 2026, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Noche de los Muertos Closing Night Ceremony (The park’s Performance Lawn in Block 2, between Grand Ave. and Hill St.)
• Sunday, November 1, 2026, 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
