From The Sessions To The Screen: Inside Nipsey Hussle & Bino Rideaux’s PROLIFIC

Documentary Premiere & Panel Conversation

Moderated by Billboard’s Gail Mitchell

The Grammy Museum is thrilled to host a special screening of PROLIFIC, a documentary featuring Nipsey Hussle, and a post-screening discussion with his family, collaborators, and team members, Blacc Sam, Bino Rideaux, Norberto Garcia, and Jorge Peniche to share insight behind the creative process of the film in the Museum’s intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater.

PROLIFIC (The Documentary) tells the story of the creative partnership between Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux and the making of their long-awaited collaborative album, originally recorded in 2017 and released in August 2026.

Featuring never-before-seen archival footage captured during the artists’ original recording sessions in 2017, alongside interviews with their closest collaborators, the documentary takes viewers inside the intensive 90-day creative period that birthed the PROLIFIC album and helped shape their 2017 mixtape, No Pressure. The film offers an intimate look at their creative chemistry, musical evolution, and the collaborative process behind a body of work that remained largely unheard for nearly a decade.

The documentary also explores Nipsey’s original vision for the project and the team’s commitment to preserving his artistry and creative intentions, offering a rare glimpse into a defining period of his career as the music finally reaches audiences nearly seven years after his passing.
