California has declared Friday, September 25, Dolly Parton Day — and we're celebrating her life and legacy with a special lunch hour performance during your 9-to-5!

Join Grand Performances and the DTLA Alliance on your lunch break, from noon to 1 p.m., for live music from Leslie Stevens and Andy Keathley, plus a performance from DJ Allison Wolfe. 

Eloquent and dulcet-voiced songwriter Leslie Stevens has earned accolades for her recordings and live performances as a luminary in the Los Angeles music scene. A devotee of the folk tradition, Stevens brings a heartfelt, authentic approach to her music. Named Best Country Singer by LA Weekly, she has lent her vocal and compositional talents to Hollywood scores, records, and television shows, and has performed alongside artists including Brian Wilson, Joe Walsh, Jackson Browne, and members of the Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn families.

Allison Wolfe co-founded the band Bratmobile, a fanzineGirl Germs and third-wave feminist punk movement riot grrrl. She received an MA in arts journalism at USC Annenberg and now teaches at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of music. Wolfe also produces a podcast, I’m in the Band, DJs, and continues to sing in Bratmobile
