Bees seep into modern life in more ways than you might realize. From the polish used to waterproof our boots, to the cough drops we carry in our pockets, the glaze on our wooden cutting boards and even the candles in our bathrooms. But bees are at their most vital when pollinating a third of the food we eat, like fruits, vegetables, nuts, coffee and chocolate. Humans and honey bees are incredibly intertwined. As we have co-evolved, we’ve developed an interdependent relationship that is still very much alive.
