Cosmic music: The Life, Art, and Transcendence of Alice Coltrane with author Andy Beta and Harmony Holiday

Join Los Angeles Public Library's Art Department for a celebration of Andy Beta's newly published "Cosmic Music: The Life, Art and Transcendence of Alice Coltrane", an in-depth biography of the jazz harpist, pianist, singer, composer and spiritual leader, Alice Coltrane.

Joining Beta will be writer, dancer, and filmmaker Harmony Holiday, author of "Maafa", "A Jazz Funeral for Uncle Tom", and others.

This event will take place in the Art Department on the 2nd floor of the Central Library.
