Butterfly Pavilion

Butterflies are taking flight at the museum! Walk among beautiful butterflies in our seasonal Butterfly Pavilion. This springtime exhibition features hundreds of butterflies, colorful native plants, and plenty of natural light to help you see these creatures shimmer. With lots of flight space and a variety of resting spots, come get one of the best views in Los Angeles of these amazing insects.

We are excited to once again offer tickets to our outdoor Butterfly Pavilion. Enter through our North Entrance and enjoy a stroll through our Nature Gardens on the way to the Butterfly Pavilion. We will be releasing additional tickets later this month. Sign up for our emails to be the first to know. 

A limited number of guests will be allowed inside the Pavilion during each reservation time slot to allow for physical distancing and ensure a safe environment for you, our guests, and our staff. Members and other guests are required to reserve all tickets in advance for the Butterfly Pavilion, as well as parking in the NHM Car Park.
