On October 23, view The Tomb of Ligeia (1964). This American-British horror film tells the story of a man haunted by the spirit of his dead wife and the effect it has on his second marriage. A funeral takes place at the side of Castle Acre Priory, where the casket has a window allowing the face of a beautiful young woman to be seen. A black cat jumps on the coffin and seems to steal her soul, setting in motion a suspenseful and chilling tale of love, loss, and supernatural intrigue.
