Aqualillies Summer Watershow

Aqualillies, the world's leading synchronized swimming and water entertainment company, will present its annual Summer Watershow on Sunday, August 9 at Golden Hour, the rooftop pool at Level8 atop the Moxy Downtown Los Angeles. Taking place from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, this special event marks the company's only annual performance open to the general public.

Each year, the Summer Watershow celebrates the birthday and enduring legacy of Hollywood silver-screen star and competitive swimmer Esther Williams, whose legendary "aquamusicals" of the 1940s and 50s elevated synchronized swimming into cinematic art. Held in honor of her early August birthday, the performance celebrates Williams' lasting influence on artistic swimming while bringing the elegance and glamour of classic Hollywood to modern audiences.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2008, Aqualillies has become globally synonymous with aquatic elegance and elite athleticism. The company is composed of former Olympians, US National Team members, and nationally competitive artistic swimmers and performers. While the company regularly performs at exclusive private events, fashion campaigns, and on film, television, and music video productions for artists including Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Lizzo, the Coen Brothers, and Katy Perry, the annual Summer Watershow remains the one evening each year when the public can experience Aqualillies' signature choreography, synchronized precision, and vintage-inspired style firsthand.

Esther Williams herself was a longtime supporter of Aqualillies' dedication to preserving and reimagining the golden era of water ballet. Attached is a signed photograph she personally inscribed to the Aqualillies team and fans.

Perched atop the Moxy Downtown Los Angeles, Golden Hour at Level8 offers panoramic rooftop views and a vibrant poolside setting overlooking the Downtown Los Angeles skyline. Presenting a vintage-inspired water show in this contemporary venue creates a unique backdrop that blends the glamour of classic Hollywood with one of Los Angeles' most dynamic nightlife destinations.
