A Closer Look at Becoming Jane
Join us in celebrating Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Dr. Jane Goodall at NHM for onsite after- hours programming as we take a closer look at the special exhibition. Each evening will delve deeper into Jane’s inspirational work as a scientist and activist and learn how her example shaped the practices of these disciplines today
This month, we'll focus on how the work of ethologist and activist Dr. Jane Goodall, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, has inspired generations to protect our natural world–and how our communities can come together and make positive changes for the future as well. Join us in conversation with Lila Higgins, NHM’s Senior Manager of Community Science, Marcos Trinidad, Director of the Audubon Center at Debs Park, Laurel Watkins, Program Officer, Roots & Shoots program of Jane Goodall Institute, and moderator Patt Morrison.
Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Dr. Jane Goodall is an exhibition organized and traveled by the National Geographic Society in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute
