64th Annual Nisei Week Karate Exhibition and Tournament

Shotokan Karate of America's Annual Nisei Week Exhibition and Tournament began in 1957, when Tsutomu Ohshima gave the first official public demonstration of traditional karate in the United States. In 1958, the Tournament was added to the Nisei Week Festival, making this the oldest karate tournament in the country. Come see practitioners from dojos throughout the U.S. and abroad as they gather to participate and compete. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
