Foreman & Clark Building
"Built in 1928 and located on the corner of Hill Street and Broadway Ave in the center of the Jewelry District in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA), the project encompasses an Adaptive Reuse of the historic 17-story Foreman & Clark Department Store & Office Building. The street level retail will serve to extend DTLA’s resurgence by continuing to anchor 7th Street as a major pedestrian retail experience. The introduction of 125 residential apartments with associated amenities and an outdoor courtyard on the 5th Floor will bring a lot of energy to this intersection. Historically, the original interior and exterior elements will be preserved and incorporated with the building’s new elements and rooftop penthouse."
