Foreman & Clark Building

Built in 1928 in the center of the Jewelry District, the historic 17-story Foreman & Clark Department Store & Office Building reopened in 2023 as an adaptive reuse hotel project. The street-level retail will serve to extend DTLA’s resurgence by continuing to anchor 7th Street as a major pedestrian retail experience. The introduction of 125 hotel rooms with associated amenities and an outdoor courtyard on the 5th Floor will bring a lot of energy to this intersection. The original interior and exterior elements will be preserved and incorporated with the building’s new elements and rooftop penthouse.
