The 626 Wilshire Boulevard building was constructed in 1967 by C.L. Peck Contractors. C.L. Peck was one of the L.A.’s major construction contractors in the 1960s and 1970s. 626 Wilshire was built as a Class “A” structure for the headquarters of its owner, State Mutual Savings & Loan. As one of the most experienced development and management firms in California, Barker Pacific Group restored the building status as a Class “A” property and has attracted tenants who have brought life back into this office tower.
