The Downtown Center Business Improvement District (DCBID) is a coalition of property owners, consisting of more than 2,200 parcels*, committed to enhancing the quality of life in Downtown Los Angeles. We believe that Downtown LA is a wholly unique place - one with an exciting and prosperous future. Our organization is helping the 65-block central business district achieve its full potential as a great place to live, work, play - and connect!

* Of these properties, 512 are commercial parcels, 1,681 are condominium parcels and 41 are government use parcels. In percentage terms, 84.97% of the DCBID’s total building square footage is commercial use, 7.73% is condominium use, and 7.3% is government use.

Updated Downtown Directory The DCBID is now distributing the updated "Downtown Los Angeles Guide." With updated listings of nearly 1,200 businesses, this popular directory has evolved into a comprehensive reference and reflects the significant growth of Downtown just within one year. The guide features an updated map and many new categories, making it even easier to find what you’re looking for! 200,000 directories were printed and will be distributed throughout the year to businesses in and around Downtown. In addition, two distribution services stock the directories in over 800 tourist locations throughout Southern California all year long. Contact Erika at (213) 624-2146 for copies.

Economic Development & Marketing The DCBID's Economic Development team works to improve and revitalize Downtown Los Angeles. The DCBID also maintains a Marketing Division to brand and promote Downtown L.A. to visitors.
	Safe & Clean Team The DCBID's Safe & Clean team, called the "Purple Patrol" for their purple shirts, provides daily, 24-hour supplemental services to maintain safety and cleanliness within the district.
